The charcuterie board was the best in Dallas. It featured two types of pate, salami, homemade mustard, and six to ten beast offerings. Professional service was provided. The ambiance was eclectic, with Georgia O'Keefe-style skulls scattered around the dining room.

The chuck roast was Impressive, did t know you could make it taste like a premium cut. The king oyster mushroom dish was great....the beets stole the show. Perfect cocktail up front and wine pairing was the best I've seen. Location was cool, unique decor and an easy drive on East side of DFW metro. staff was professional, personable and knowledgeable. Plant to go back

A first time for our group of friends, we've been chattering about it for a few years now- before this new location. Beautiful restaurant- very friendly people. Good service- however, as the night went on, our guy was a little scarce- but was very nice. We started with the charcuterie board- lots of delicious treats, sweets, meats and frommage- lovely-exciting-entertaining- very delicious. We ordered way too much, per usual- but we tore it up. I loved the bread- giant loaf to share with the butter creatively smeared around the plate- good dip dip. The salad was divine . Check out the pics for some mouth watering pics. I will say I felt like most dishes were a on the salty side. I also chose a refreshing Dublin Dr. pepper- delicious, but $4, dang, price hike! Beware. Overall, nice experience.

Came here for my birthday!! Food was creative and different which is always fun. The service was good. The pastas were so rich and filling! Salad had some sugary crisp on top that was a little too sweet for me. We had the duck tartare. That was a first for me so it was a little exhilarating tbh! Actually it tasted pretty good if you enjoy tartare. Thanks for a great experience!

If you aren't familiar with this restaurant, its location and outer appearance may trick you into not realizing how fantastic it is. The chef and owner, Misti Norris, has received several awards and recognition that seems to be so well-deserved. This restaurant emphasizes the importance of using the whole animal in their menu and finding ways to make parts of the animal that we don't normally enjoy feel truly enjoyable. The service is phenomenal. Helpful, attentive, and truly just seemed so happy to be there. I really appreciated being walked through the menu, which changes frequently based on what is in season and what they have access to. I really appreciated that it's a very collaborative restaurant both in itself and in the community. The food is indescribable. Partially because I'm not a food critique and can't do it justice, but mostly because it was just the delicious. Everything was flavorful, inventive, unique, and inviting. I would highly recommend for a special occasion, a chef's tasting, or other specialty dinner. We'll absolutely be back and be recommending it to anyone looking for a great dinner spot.

We dined here for their Sunday Brunch because the menu looked really interesting and it was really very good. I wish I could say that I loved it all, but it was more interesting than it was great. We started with a Smoked Redfish Dip and it was quite good, but it needed more of the 'Candied Hot Sauce' that really made it stand apart from other fish dips that I have eaten. I would have asked for more, but the menu clearly stated they do not accommodate alterations or substitutions to the menu. Shame. My wife had the Gnocchi French Toast and that was 100% the winning dish of our Brunch. Fun concept that really delivered. I had the Sausage, Egg and Cheese Bazlama and it was good, but a nightmare to eat as it is served in a pretty stiff pita. I wouldn't get it again. I got a cup of coffee and the first one was quite tasty but the batch for the refill was really weak. My wife got a diet coke that was a tiny 8 oz bottle for $4. They do have some fun looking cocktails and I'd like to try them next time. Server Brittany, was very welcoming and helpful, and everyone else that we encountered was great. I probably wouldn't return for Brunch, but I would love to try a dinner. The pretentiousness of the kitchen regarding alterations/substitutions is annoying, but the concept of the place is fun and it's a pretty cool vibe.

This restaurant had been on my Yelp "to do" list for years and I finally stopped by. It ended up being one of my favorite meals in Dallas and I will be back. Food (5/5): The food is quite unique. There are a lot of nonstandard cuts of meat, fresh seasoning, and more oil than butter. We started individual boards with the chicken liver mousse and chorizo. The bread and jams that came with them were also superb. Next, we had the tea-braised pig tails which taste a lot like pork belly (a good thing). The peppercorn cured hiramasa was an interesting contrast and a much more delicate flavor. Our last dish before dessert, the whole TX lamb lasagnette ended up being my favorite. The focaccia mixed in the sauce made it just salty enough. The dish tastes fresh with oil and herbs. The apple beet tarte tatin was the right amount of sweet to finish off a good sized meal. Both of our cocktails were on point, too. Service (4.5/5): We asked our server for a recommendations for a good first meal at the restaurant and were steered the right direction. It is so helpful to get guidance rather than an explanation of how every dish on the menu is great. The server was also friendly. Only dings were a slightly long wait between getting seated and ordering and having our first two dishes come out at the same time with the hiramasa was supposed to be served before the pig tails. Ambience (3.5/5): The restaurant is in a pretty nondescript shopping center. The interior is lit well for date nights. Some of the decor looks like it could have come from Ikea. However, we forgot about all of that once the food started coming. The noise level is perfect. It is easy to talk with people at the table and we couldn't make out anyone else's conversation. The seating is not too crowded.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing! From the food itself, to the experience with staff, to the fact that everything is sourced local. It's all amazing. My fiance and I sat at the chef's table and I highly recommend that experience for anyone going. We got to watch the food being prepared throughout the night and got in-depth explanations on the food we ordered. The food was delicious, I was especially concerned about my fiance finding something he'd like but he ended up loving everything we ordered. Its defintely not for the picky eaters in your life though. The food itself is an experience in flavor combinations and textures. The menu changes constantly so be on the lookout for new items!
